Ty and Sara

I had the privilege of photographing Ty and Sara recently. They are adorable!! Recently engaged and planning a July 4th wedding - they can't hardly wait! I Love the direction their shoot took. From the gorgeous classic vintage car (thanks to Grandpa Hoerr's privet collection) to the playful soccer pics. Ty kept us giggling with his one liners and hilarious stories! You guys are terrific!! Afternoon in the park.

Stella was thrilled to spend a warm afternoon at the park. 61 degrees and the three of us had no complaints... mud or no mud ... we didn't mind! Yes, I am a proud new doggie-mom! Couldn't resist grabbing my camera and skipping out of work early with little sis to soak up some sun. A few photographs to share! ;)

expect the unexpected!

I had the privilege of photographing Ryan and Kelly recently. A sweetheart session just for fun - hoping to capture the two of them ... young and in love... and they totally are! You can't miss the fact that they are best friends. Kelly was quick to tell me about her idea. Images to share with their own family someday... We laughed together speculating how 20 years from now their kids will find these images and say "Wow! Mom and Dad were young once!! -- and so cute! I love this idea! Here's to a fun and fabulous february!

19 hour marathon

I needed to wait until I caught my breath to make this post. Seriously, I have nEvER in almost 5 years finished anything with so much speed! From shooting photographs early that morning (in negative temps) to proofing over a delicious breakfast... Post production, designing cards, sending to the lab... and then in my hands!!! I was amazed to be calling less then 19 hours later - cards are in! Who could this marathon session be for?? None other than my own Mother! P.S. I promised to site my Dad for picking this cool location! I love it when he calls to tell me about interesting new locations to photograph - Good eye Dad!
